When we think of pet safety we typically think of veterinary visits, diet, training, exercise and a secure safe place for them to live.

While we all worry about our pets because they are part of our family and we want them to be healthy and happy but what type of safety do you worry about?  What if something happened to you? Do you have a backup plan for your pets?  Where will they go?  What if there is a disaster or emergency, we wouldn’t want to leave them behind!

Just like our kids, we can’t worry about everything, because life is going to happen, but there are some things we can do to be more prepared for the unexpected.

If you checked even half of the boxes, you are probably doing better than most.  Across our country pets are considered personal property.  Every day pets are being dumped, chained up, and left in crates for hours on end and some live in horrible conditions or are euthanized.
