Well, it seems like a simple thing.  If I have time maybe I can throw it in a grocery bag, If, not then what, grab your pet and its food and get out or get down to the basement and wait for the event to pass?

As I sit here writing the BLOG today, I have to wonder why most people don’t have an emergency plan.  We are just now seeing the devastation from Hurricane Ian in Florida with both people and pets being rescued and it’s now making its way up to the Carolina coast.  What are you waiting for?

Do you have an emergency plan and know where you will stay?  Maybe you can stay at a friend’s house, or a hotel.  Maybe a shelter is your only option.  Are your pets travel-ready?

Hurricane’s come with some warning but experts agree when you have pets you should leave at the first signs there is danger coming. If you live anywhere where hurricanes are a threat you know that the roads can get congested with traffic, with everyone trying to evacuate and you don’t want to be stuck in your car with a stressed-out cat.
